Chronic Lyme Disease Discussed on Diane Rehm Show with Dr. Fallon and Dr. Barthold

Researchers continue to work hard at finding a way to cure chronic Lyme disease.  However, it continues to be a daunting challenge to get peer-reviewed research papers published.

So it is exciting to hear un-edited and uncensored information from the head of some of the most advanced research teams discuss their work and the challenges that lie ahead.

Although this interview is a year old (I just read about it a few days ago), Diane Rehm, hosts a nationally syndicated  radio show (WAMU 88.5) on a variety of topics.  in this show, on chronic Lyme disease – diagnosis and treatment, Ms. Rehm interviewed:

Dr Paul Auwaerter -Associate Professor of Medicine, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Clinical Director, Division of Infectious Diseases at Johns Hopkins Hospital;
Dr. Samuel Shor – Internist, private practice and Associate Clinical Professor at George Washington University;
Dr. Brian Fallon – Professor of clinical psychiatry. Director, Lyme and Tick-Borne Diseases Research Center. and Director, Center for the Study of Neuroinflammatory Disorders & Biobehavioral Medicine at Columbia University;

One Response to Chronic Lyme Disease Discussed on Diane Rehm Show with Dr. Fallon and Dr. Barthold

  1. I have been surfing on-line greater than three hours these days, but I never discovered any interesting article like yours. It’s lovely price sufficient for me. In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you probably did, the net will probably be much more helpful than ever before.
