1st Annual Lyme Disease in the Era of Precision Medicine Conference

The 1st annual conference “Lyme Disease in the Era of Precision Medicine” was hosted in October 2016 by Mount Sinai’s Institute for Next Generation Healthcare. This unique event sponsored by the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation: Lyme Disease Initiative, focused on opportunities to apply emerging paradigms of precision medicine and network biology to advance understanding and treatment of Lyme disease.

The goal of the conference was to catalyze a new culture of innovation and collaboration – highlighting new technologies and methodologies specific to collective work in the Lyme disease community.

The videos are long but include very interesting question and answer sessions.  Keep in mind it is a medical conference and may be hard for some to watch in their entirety.

Some of the speakers not to be missed include keynote speaker Dr. Brian Fallon (his presentation is the first 23 minutes):

Dr. Ying Zhang (Johns Hopkins) and Dr. Kim Lewis (Northeastern) among other expert microbiologists: (NOTE: If you’re short on time skip to 24 minutes – 30 minutes)

Another expert panel on immunology – don’t miss Dr. Monica Embers at 15 minutes):

LymeMind posted all the videos here.
